From the initial phone call to the actual surrender/euthanasia, I sincerely appreciate the caring, compassionate and respectful manner in which Rachel, Paul, the volunteer gentleman treated myself and my 16-year old dog Bonnie during a sad and emotional surrender/euthanasia on May 20th @ 3:00 pm. Each staff member was attentive and gentle with Bonnie and patient with me. Thank you so much! You make the City of Richardson special. PS: The facility is clean and beautiful.

Treated very warmly , professionally, with kindness. Despite fact the dog had a chip and could not be taken in or put to sleep /-I felt the whole staff were extremely supportive— Doing their best to help me and resolve my problems. I still have no solutions—but I found nothing but kindness during my visit!

We brought in our 5 month old French Bulldog in to get microchipped. We were greeted so nicely by the guy who worked at the front desk and we were in and out under 5 minutes. The facility was clean and very welcoming. Highly recommend them to get any services needed for your fur babies!

Very pleased by experience. Did not know answers to many questions, let alone spell or know what type of cat I was turning in , but staff handled themselves professionally and politely. Glad I live in Richardson. And appreciate the people who work for its residents!

The new City of Richardson Animal Shelter is impressive and the staff very professional and courteous.

I had a great experience under the circumstances that I was surrendering my beloved pet to be euthanized for old age. Even though I was sad, I was impressed with the new building and that the staff has increased in size. I also appreciated the assistance I received in getting my pet inside building as I had to use a walker for myself. I visited the adoptable dogs/cats section and from my previous recollection of the old building, the animals seem to be in a much more clean, sanitized and secure environment.
